In Memorium

StudioArtVartanian was one of the most active, most significant members on Renderosity. Her work ethic and friendliness have earned her many awards and friendships over the past ten years. Her superb workmanship was only matched by her generosity, as she often shared her talents for free and gladly mentored new artists. On the other side of the screen, she was known as Joanna. This page is dedicated to her life and the impact it had on all of us.

This is a memorial video for a Renderosity member who recently passed away in July 2021 - Mausel (Juergen Pietsch). Mausel was an active member of Renderosity who shared his Poser creations regularly. We've chosen several works from his store and gallery to feature in this memorial video.

Renderosity member Mark Innes (moebiustraveller) died in 2021. Mark joined Renderosity in 2016 and regularly posted striking and passionate scenes with fantasy and science fiction themes. We’ve created a video with 12 of his gallery images to share with you his bold creations. 

Clint Hawkins was Renderosity's E-Commerce/MarketPlace Manager from 1998-2007. He was a much loved member of the staff and was well-liked in the Renderosity community. 

Raul (aka Dinoraul) was a member of Renderosity for 19 years having joined in 2001. He had over 600 followers. It's easy to see why he had those followers: his work was dynamic and well-crafted. Raul loved dinosaurs and anything related to prehistoric creatures and environments. If you look through his gallery, you will see hundreds of exciting scenes with dinosaurs and fantasy creatures that Raul loved to create. He also dabbled a bit in horror and the gothic using VUE and Poser to create moody and ominous settings.

Talented and passionate artist Carol Cavalaris (better known as Romanceworks in the 3d and digital art communities) died in 2020. Carol joined Renderosity in 2003 and had an extensive gallery. Carol was voted Artist of the Month for June 2014. Carol was the epitome of a loving and talented Renderosity member.

Renderosity member Sean Stephane Martin (aka SeanMartin) died on August 3, 2020. He was 69. SeanMartin was a popular and prolific artist at Renderosity for 16 years. He is most well-known as the creator and artist behind the pioneering cartoon “Doc and Raider.”

Ute Mulrooney (aka) Syltermermaid died on February 8, 2019.

Ute was a popular artist and friend at Renderosity since she joined in 2004. Her gallery had over 1,000 followers and she consistently donated to the Free Stuff gallery over the years. She had a great passion for creating things with Poser. 

The talented Renderosity artist and vendor Dimension3D (aka Ralf Sesseler) has passed away in 2017

Ralf was a member of Renderosity since 2004. He posted many items in his gallery and online store. Ralf was chosen Vendor of the Month for July 2008 for his work with Poser, Daz 3D and Cinema 4D. His generosity of spirit and kindness will be remembered.

The well-liked and talented Renderosity artist and vendor Simon-3D (aka Simon Schild) passed away in 2017. 

Simon-3D joined the Renderosity community in 2003 and in that time featured over 200 items in his store. Everything from Egyptian chariots to carnival fun rides. His gallery is filled with a variety of interesting sets, characters and environments. All of his work is characterized by a sense of adventure and fun.

Renderosity member Dennis Webb (aka Dead_Reckoning) died in February 2018 after along battle with cancer. Dennis was a Renderosity member since 2001. He also worked as a marketplace tester since 2016 and was well-liked by Renderosity vendors.
Digital-Lion, a Renderosity member/artist since 2005, died in 2016. His partner, Meike (SaintFox), has written a memorial tribute to him. She asked that she be able to write it in German, which is her native language, and then have it translated to English.
